Mario Jardon performed classical piano works at the BC Cancer Research Centre on July 3rd and 4th to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research. Admission was by donation and more than $2500 was raised! All funds collected were made to the BC Cancer Foundation to support research in pancreatic cancer at Pancreas Centre BC.
Mario Jardon is a post-doctoral fellow at the Genome Sciences Centre, BC Cancer Agency. He played works by Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy and Ponce and stated ‘I’m inviting you to contribute to a cause where your participation can make a great difference’.
